Bereavement Support The death of a beloved pet is one of the most difficult times any of us can face. Can you be an empathetic listener for someone who needs to talk? Volunteers play a vital role in telephone support, pet loss meetings, personal support and public relations. Assignments are structured, training and support for you are provided and the rewards are great.

Public Education & Community Relations Here’s another opportunity to be involved with the Pet Therapy Society even if you don’t have a pet that would enjoy visiting. Help us spread the word about the Society at dog shows, trade fairs, conferences, etc. Assignments are flexible and are usually 3-4 hours in length. A great way to meet lots of super pet lovers. Enthusiasm and a warm smile are definite assets.

Special Events Lots of energetic and enthusiastic help is needed to make each and every Special Event a success! From the planner to the detail-organizers to the event workers and the follow-up and evaluators, there’s a perfect job for just about everyone!

Fundraising Or should we say FUNraising? No telemarketing here, just some easy, effective and fun activities that will encourage people to show their support for the Pet Therapy Society in a way that will make dollars and sense. We need both idea-people and doer’s to make it happen! Some fundraising may be done in conjunction with the Special Events group.
