PAWS To Remember

We know that the death of a beloved pet is one of the most devastating losses an individual or family can face.  Often, others do not understand and the grieving pet owner feels very much alone in their grief.  But you are not alone.  The Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta understands and cares.

We provide a unique free service to anyone who needs support with the loss of a pet.  Our qualified volunteer grief counselors are available by phone or by coming to one of our support meetings.  The Pet Loss Support Group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the Centre (#415, 8170-50 Street) Our services are provided free of charge.

Celebration of Remembrance

We offer the opportunity for pet owners and friends to honour the memory of a departed animal and to celebrate the wonderful memories at our Celebration of Remembrance.  Typically held in late November or early December, we invite the public to attend.
