Support and services for individuals having difficulty coping with the death of a pet.
We know that the death of a beloved pet is one of the most devastating losses an individual or family can face. Often, others do not understand and the grieving pet owner feels very much alone in their grief but you are not alone. The Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta understands and cares.
We provide a unique free service to anyone who needs support with the loss of a pet. Our qualified volunteer grief counselors hold support meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the Centre (#415, 8170-50 Street). This group is open to the public and is a drop in event.
You may also reach our Support Line by phone at 780-707-3007. If no one is there to answer your call, please leave us a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
